With Adrian Peterson likely out for the Minnesota VIkings, it will be that much tougher to overcome the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
The Minnesota Vikings have a tough task ahead of them on Sunday when they visit the Atlanta Falcons. They will look to pull off the upset, likely one of the more unexpected to happen this season. But the experts don't see that happening. Over at ESPN it is a clean sweep among its 10 participants. It's the same way over at CBSSports.com in a straight pick and by points spread.
SB Nation Atlanta predicts a victory for the Falcons because Adrian Peterson is likely out for the game and rookie Christian Ponder is starting at quarterback. However, there's some belief that the Falcons will actually play to the level of competition and make this game closer than it should be.
Even if the Vikings had Adrian Peterson for this game it would still be hard for them to beat the Falcons. Atlanta hasn't had the season it would have liked, but they won't let this one get away from them.
