The Buffalo Bills are looking to end their loosing skid in an AFC East match up against the New York Jets.
The Buffalo Bills have been on a skid, losing their last three games, all by at least 16 points. The Bills offense has struggled under quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and he'll be looking to put things together against AFC East foe the New York Jets, with playoff hopes still alive. It will be tough for the Bills offense however, given they lost running back Fred Jackson for the season due to a foot injury. "We're trying to figure out some answers, and looking to see some results this week," Fitzpatrick said about the game.
The Jets like the Bills, are on their own skid. The Jets lost 37-16 to the New England Patriots and 17-13 to the Denver Broncos in the span of just five days. "I think everyone kind of feels like it's now or never," Jets safety Jim Leonhard said. "We have to play well, and we have to play well now." Quarterback Mark Sanchez saw some of his first team reps go to veteran Mark Brunell, but the team contends there is nothing to it. In order for the Jets to right the ship however, Sanchez is going to have to get things going offensively.
