All that stood between Vince Young and a touchdown was Julian Edelman. That's Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman, who is filling in on defense due to injuries. It was a one-on-one, open-field matchup and ... well, we're still perplexed about how Edelman came out on the winning end.
Edelman had Young all squared up, waiting with pretty solid form as the Eagles quarterback tried to juke in the open-field. The Patriots wide receiver -- actually, can we call him a defensive back yet; after this, I think we can -- held his ground and actually made the tackle. It was just an odd sight.
Gif after the jump, because this odd collision, which was just Edelman hanging on for dear life, had to be preserved for history's sake.
It's a funny moment that doesn't mean much, but atta boy, Edelman. Way to play like a champion today.

Less than a month ago, he was assaulting a woman, but he’s playing like a champion today, so let’s praise him.
