Sunday's game between the Chicago Bears and the Oakland Raiders has been one of the toughest to watch of the day, thanks to a general lack of offense. Sebastian Janikowski has provided some intrigue, at least, kicking six field goals to give the Raiders an 18-7 lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
Janikowski will probably be the difference in several fantasy football leagues, where kickers are regarded as a necessary nuisance. He has hit from 40, 47, 42, 19, 37 and 44 yards out, setting a franchise record. He can thank a Raiders offense that has consistently shot itself in the foot throughout the day.
In the third quarter, the Raiders had a 12-yard Michael Bush touchdown run nullified due to a holding penalty by guard Stefen Wisniewski. Quarterback Carson Palmer has struggled throughout the day on third downs near the red zone. He is 17-for-31 passing for 227 yards and an interception on the day.
