The Chicago Bears’ newly minted starting quarterback, Caleb Hanie, is trying his best to keep the team in the hunt for a wild card spot while regular starter Jay Cutler recovers from a thumb injury. In Hanie’s debut today, he now has thrown two touchdown passes, which kind of balances out the three interceptions he threw in this game. Hanie completed a nine-yard touchdown pass to tight end Kellen Davis with less than three minutes to go in the game. Two plays prior to that, Hanie connected with Johnny Knox on a sweet 81-yarder that got the Bears inside the Raiders’ ten-yard line.

That was the fourth catch of the game for Knox, whose receiving total climbed to 145 yards in the game with that pass. Earlier in the game, Knox scored a touchdown on a 29-yard pass from Hanie.
Oakland leads by a score of 25-20 with two minutes left to play.
