The Saints notched the first score on Monday Night Football vs. the Giants to take a 7-0 lead early in the second quarter after a scoreless first period. Drew Brees hit wide receiver Lance Moore on a quick out to from inside the five-yard line on third down.
The Saints quarterback has now thrown a touchdown in 38 consecutive games, the second longest streak in NFL history.

Moore already has four catches for 44 yards. Brees has completed eight of his first 12 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown. The hot start made Moore do this:
Still, the Saints could be up even more if head coach Sean Payton had not tried a fake field goal (click for video) in the first quarter that failed.
The Giants looks to be in control with a long drive at the end of the first quarter, but Eli Manning threw an interception in the end zone to kill New York's momentum.
