Drew Brees is turning this Saints vs. Giants game into a laugher on Monday Night Football. Brees threw three touchdown passes in the second quarter, leading New Orleans to a 21-3 lead at the halftime intermission.
After extending their lead with three minutes left in the half, the Saints got the ball back and their quarterback drove New Orleans down the field in 34 seconds for another touchdown to close out an explosive second quarter and put the Giants in serious jeopardy.
Lance Moore caught the touchdown pass, his second of the game. Here's video of the score:
Brees ended the half with 265 total passing yards to go with his three touchdowns. Yup, that'll do.
Aside, in perhaps the most important development tonight, Moore celebrates touchdowns in the best fashion possible.
