The New York Giants and New England Patriots play this weekend. Despite both teams having 5-2 records, the Week 9 NFL lines have the Pats as a big home favorite.
The New York Giants and New England Patriots both have identical 5-2 records thus far into the NFL regular season, but that will change when the Northeastern teams meet on Sunday afternoon. Despite the similar records, the Week 9 NFL odds lean heavily in favor of the Patriots.
The Patriots opened the week as 8½-point favorites at Gillette Stadium, a move not all that unexpected considering most are probably much more willing to bet on a Tom Brady led team at home compared to Eli Manning on the road. There are several sites offering the Giants as many as 10 points, though, making them a worthy bet to at least push when the odds are that high.
The over-under probably isn't a bad bet at 52½, either, considering these two teams could easily run up the score.
