Cleveland Browns quarterback Colt McCoy completed 14 of 22 passes for 146 in a 30-12 loss to the Houston Texans. McCoy also had a touchdown and an interception in the game, his third consecutive game with a pick. He now has 10 touchdowns and six interceptions on the season.
Colt McCoy has improved almost by the game in 2011, but he still hasn't reached the point where fantasy owners feel secure starting him in any format. He had his highest passer rating of the season last week against the vaunted 49ers defense, but it was only 83.1, and he threw for just one touchdown. In Week 9, he was facing the Houston Texans who, since adding former Pro Bowl cornerback Jonathan Joseph in the offseason, have had a terrific, if underrated, pass defense.
