The Houston Texans jumped out to a big lead over the Cleveland Browns in the first half today. They stuck to the ground to do most of their damage, but quarterback Matt Schaub was still able to add to the scoring. Schaub scrambled for a two-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter, one of three rushing touchdowns by Houston today. In the air, Schaub has completed 10 of 15 passes for 90 yards, one interception and no touchdowns.
Matt Schaub has *knocks on wood* stayed away from injuries so far in 2011, and it's paid off for his fantasy owners. The Texans' quarterback. Taking advantage of a pair of quarterback's-best-friends in tight ends Owen Daniels and Joel Dreessen, he hasn't had any dropoff in production in the four weeks Andre Johnson has missed with a hamstring injury. He drew the Cleveland Browns in Week 9, who entered the game with the league's 2nd-ranked pass defense, an underrated unit that's held opponents' QBs under 190 yards a game.
