Ryan Fitzpatrick's run of great play is over, while the New York Jets are now very much back in the race in the AFC East. The Buffalo Bills quarterback struggled against the Jets on Sunday, going 15-31 for 191 yards. He thew a touchdown pass, but also through two interceptions.
Mr. Harvard Beardyface, more commonly known as Ryan Fitzpatrick, has been an unexpected stalwart at quarterback for fantasy owners. He had 14 passing touchdowns in seven games, and 1,739 yards coming into this game. He's used tight end Scott Chandler as an end zone safety valve, and Fred Jackson has been the perfect guy to dump passes off to.
Stevie Johnson has also been good, but not as great as last year. Fitzpatrick had to succeed without him in the mix much in Week 9, since the Bills are facing the Jets and Johnson will be stranded on Revis Island for much of the game. Entering Week 9, opposing quarterbacks had a 2.9 passer rating when throwing in Revis' direction.
