You do not want to own Curtis Painter in fantasy football. On Sunday, the Colts quarterback put up some stats that exhibit why. Painter finished with less than 100 total passing yards and zero touchdowns as the Colts got crushed by the Falcons. Indianapolis did not score an offensive touchdown. Run away from Curtis Painter, people!
Painter's opportunity as the Indianapolis Colts' starting quarterback started out like gangbusters. He threw four touchdowns and no interceptions in his first two games. Despite the losses, he looked good, and certainly serviceable as a backup quarterback.
Since then it's been ugly. I mean Tebow ugly. He's had four interceptions and only one touchdown in his last three games, throwing for more than 200 yards just once. He faced the Atlanta Falcons' pass defense in Week 0, which has been pretty stingy this year. You should have been thoughtful enough to avoid Painter like the plague.
