Sproles had 305 rushing yards and 389 receiving yard on the season with 2 rushing touchdown entering Week 9. Sproles was averaging 38 yards rushing per game and 49 yards receiving per game. Sproles' rushing yards per game were up nearly 20 yards per game from last season.
Sproles was ranked as the 11th ranked running back according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who rank 23rd against the run, giving up 123 rushing yards per game.
