There wasn't too much to complain about in Sydney Rice's Week 9 performance, but there wasn't much to get excited over, either. The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver caught three passes for 69 yards and was kept out of the end zone. His highlight of the day was a 43-yard catch.
Rice had 366 receiving yard on the season with 1 receiving touchdown entering Week 9. Rice was averaging 73 yards receiving per game. Rice's receiving yards per game were up nearly 30 yards per game from last season.
Rice was ranked as the 20th ranked wide receiver according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Dallas Cowboys who rank 16th against the pass, giving up 234 passing yards per game.
