Jermichael Finley hasn't been quite as potent a fantasy option as some may have perceived him to be entering the 2011 NFL season. But as long as he has days like his 44-receiving yard, one-touchdown performance against the Chargers in a 45-38 Packers victory, Finley will be a solid fantasy starter at tight end.
Finley had 334 receiving yards on the season and four touchdowns entering Week 9. But his 48 receiving yards per game were down nearly 15 yards per game from last season.
Finley was the fifth-ranked tight end according to Yahoo! heading into his match-up with the Chargers. That seems about right for a player who may win the occasional week for a team, but will only rarely doom a squad.
