Fred Davis was the Redskins second most productive receiver on Sunday, but even that isn't saying much. The Washington tight end corralled four passes for 42 yards and did not get in the end zone.
Of course, there weren't many passes up for grabs with John Beck connecting 14 times with running back Roy Helu (good for a Redskins franchise record).
Davis had 201 receiving yards on the season with one receiving touchdown entering Week 9. Davis was averaging 50 yards receiving per game. Davis's receiving yards per game were down nearly 20 yards per game from last season.
Davis was ranked as the 11th ranked tight end according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the San Francisco 49ers who rank 21st against the pass, giving up 256 passing yards per game.
