Tony Gonzalez only caught four passes for 36 yards, but he did get in the end zone against the hapless Colts on Sunday. The Falcons tight end caught one of Matt Ryan's three TD passes as Atlanta routed Indianapolis.
But the real star of the show for Atlanta fantasy stat-wise was Julio Jones, who turned two first-half catches into 130 yards and two touchdowns. Not bad ...
Gonzalez had 380 receiving yard on the season with three receiving touchdowns entering Week 9. Gonzalez was averaging 54 yards receiving per game. Gonzalez's receiving yards per game were up nearly 15 yards per game from last season.
Gonzalez was the 7th ranked tight end according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Indianapolis Colts who rank 22nd against the pass, giving up 269 passing yards per game.
