Cleveland kick return specialist Josh Cribbs gave Cleveland Browns fans a little something to be excited, despite the team already in a 14-0 hole in the first quarter. Following Houston's second touchdown, Cribbs broke off a 64-yard kick return, as he is wont to do, to give Cleveland their best field position of the day so far. Unfortunately for Cleveland, Cribbs promptly followed his return with a personal foul penalty. Here is a video of Cribbs' return.
Cleveland was able to get on the board thanks in no small part to the field position Cribbs gave them. A field goal cut into Houston's lead, making it a 14-3 game.
That was Cribbs' longest return of the season. Prior to that, his longest was 52-yards this year. This was his third return for more than 40 yards and his 11th return for more than 20 yards. He has not scored a kick return touchdown since 2009.
