San Francisco cruised to its seventh win of 2011, but not without allowing the Redskins to set a record in dubious fashion.

Jim Harbaugh's San Francisco 49ers have bolted out of the gate in the 2011 NFL season by being more than accomodating to teams that are interested in beating themselves. The Washington Redskins certainly qualified in Week 9.

San Francisco built 13-0 and 19-3 leads and allowed John Beck to do everything he wanted, as long as it was a checkdown, in a typically boring 19-11 Niners victory.

Beck threw for 254 yards, but on a staggering 47 attempts, and found Roy Helu Jr. so often on checkdowns that Helu became the new franchise leader in receptions for a game with 14 catches. This did not sit well with more than a few Redskins fans, but Helu did, at least, have 105 yards on those catches.

San Francisco's Alex Smith threw for 200 yards and a touchdown, and Frank Gore ran for 107 yards in the victory.

The 49ers improved to 7-1 in the 2011 NFL season with the win, while the Redskins dropped to 3-5 with the loss.
