One of these days, quarterbacks are going to learn that just because the coach calls a trick play, they don't have to throw it deep. Sam Bradford once again showed us why damning the torpedoes is not such a hot idea. The St. Louis Rams quarterback basically threw a ball up for grabs on a flea-flicker and it was, predictably, intercepted.
The annoying part of it was Bradford was under zero pressure and his man wasn't open. In fact, he didn't even have total single coverage, as another defensive back was still underneath the throw. Live and learn maybe.
