After scoring a touchdown to cut the Green Bay Packers' lead down to a two touchdowns, the San Diego Chargers recovered an onside kick with a little more than seven minutes remaining. They recovered the ball on their own 45-yard line. On the following drive, Phillip Rivers connected with Vincent Jackson for a 29-yard touchdown pass that cut the Packers' lead to just a single touchdown.
Here is a video of the onside kick that San Diego managed to recover at a critical time.
Three plays and two consecutive first downs later, Rivers hit Jackson deep on the right side of the field for a 29-yard touchdown pass. It was Jackson's third touchdown of the game. He has seven catches for 141 yards to go with those three touchdowns.
With more than two minutes left to play, San Diego needs a touchdown to tie the game and beat the undefeated Packers, something that would be one of the bigger upsets of the season.
