The New York Giants beat the New England Patriots today, in a rematch of the infamous Super Bowl game that ended the Patriots' hopes for a completely undefeated season. This time, tight end Jake Ballard scored a last minute touchdown to give the Giants a 24-20 win over Tom Brady and the Patriots. Quarterback Eli Manning connected with Ballard on a diving catch from one yard out for the game winner. Check out the video of Ballard's touchdown right here.
That was Ballard's fourth catch of the game, and it put the Giants at a surprising 6-2 for a lead in the NFC East.
Ballard finished the game with four catches for 67 yards and one touchdown. Eli Manning threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns in the game, and he was intercepted once. Running back Brandon Jacobs added a touchdown to the final tally.
Tom Brady finished the game with 342 yards passing, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
