Jay Cutler Fantasy Recap: Bears QB Throws 2 Touchdowns

Stay connected with SB Nation

Jay Cutler was surprisingly solid for the Bears on Monday, helping direct a fourth-quarter comeback to beat the Eagles 30-24. He finished the game completing 18-of-32 passes for 208 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't throw a single interception, and more impressively, didn't take a single sack. Entering Monday's contest, he was sacked 21 times in seven games.

Coming into Week 9, Cutler was having a very Cutler-esque season. With 1,910 yards, 11 touchdowns and six interceptions, he hasn't exactly been great, but he's done just enough to seem worth keeping around.

In recent weeks, he has been bouncing between acceptable and cringe worthy. His last game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7 was one of those hide-your-eyes performances where he was 17-of-32 for 226 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. In Week 6, he was 21-of-31 for 267 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.
