Brent Celek Fantasy Recap: Another 7 Catches For Eagles TE

Stay connected with SB Nation

Brent Celek caught seven passes for the second week in a row, notching 60 yards for the Eagles in Monday's loss to the Chicago. He failed to find the end zone -- snapping his touchdown streak at two games -- but it's still an encouraging sign for a guy who hasn't been a consistent fantasy option since 2009.

Coming off a disappointing 2010 season in which his yards were nearly halved (511 yards, four touchdowns), the Eagles' tight end came into Week 9 in the midst of another up and down season. Before collecting 14 catches in his last two games, he tallied just 13 over the first six games of the season.

Against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8, Celek looked like his old self, catching seven passes for 94 yards and scoring a touchdown.
