The San Diego Chargers need a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, but oddsmakers aren't confident that they'll get it.
The San Diego Chargers are slumping hard, but despite their 4-7 record, the AFC West is still wide open. To get back into the playoff race, they'll need a win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the oddsmakers like them to do so. Though the Chargers are on the road, they'll be playing against a team who just fired their coach and who starts a rookie quarterback. Odds Shark had the Bolts opening as three-point favorites.
That line is not moving in the Bolts' favor, though. A couple of bookies have the line holding steady, while a couple more have the line moving towards the Jaguars. Those who like to put down their money on football games apparently have little faith in Norv Turner and Philip Rivers. And honestly, would you bet money on Turner and Rivers? Ever? The Chargers should take this game, but it's probably best to avoid this one like the plague.
