Austin is dealing with a hamstring injury that has kept him out of action for the Cowboys' last three games. Austin last played in week 9.
While the Cowboys would no doubt like to have Austin back in the lineup, they have been winning without him, going 3-0 over that same stretch. Laurent Robinson, a free agent picked up earlier in the season, has thrived in Austin's place, scoring three touchdowns in Dallas' last two games.
Dallas leads the New York Giants by one game in the NFC East race, with a prime time showdown between both teams scheduled for next week.
