Marshawn Lynch should probably get an endorsement deal now. With the game he's having in Seattle on Thursday Night Football, his Skittles obsession is getting plenty of play on the air. Score a touchdown, eat some Skittles. Come out of a commercial break, eat some Skittles in the huddle. Lynch is basically replacing Gatorade with Skittles.
I live in Seattle and had forgotten this was a thing. For whatever reason, Lynch needs his Skittles and seems to operate better when he has them. Look at Thursday night: Lynch has two touchdowns, including one that resembled last year's Beast Mode run. All powered by Skittles.
You probably don't believe me when I say he has his own Skittles assistant. Hit the jump for evidence.
The funniest part of this all? Lynch had to sit out a series because of what NFL Network called an "upset stomach." I wonder why....
