The New Orleans Saints head to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans, with both teams in the thick of the playoff hunt.
The New Orleans Saints roll into Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans on a four game winning streak and look to put the nails in the coffin of the NFC South with another victory on Sunday. "The loss to St. Louis left us in the middle of the division with Atlanta and Tampa (Bay)," quarterback Drew Brees said. " ... November is when you begin to separate yourselves from the pack, and we wanted to be playing our best football." With a victory, it will put the Saints only one game back of the San Francisco 49ers as the No. 2 seed in the playoffs and keep the Saints in the drivers seat for the division.
The Tennessee Titans, like the Saints, are also in the hunt for the playoffs. The Titans currently trail the Houston Texans in the AFC South by two games, but a win on Sunday can keep them right on the Texans heels for the division and in the thick of the Wild Card race. The Titans offense has gotten back on track lately, in part thanks to the resurgence of running back Chris Johnson, who struggled to get anything going early in the season. Johnson has rushed for over 150 yards in his last two games, both of which the Titans won. If Johnson can get going against the Saints, the Titans might be able to pull the upset.
