The Eagles' dreams have dwindled to maybe making the playoffs, but they kept those alive by beating Miami in Week 14.
The flagging Eagles needed a win. The Dolphins had four wins in their last five games. So, of course, the Eagles dominated in a 26-10 win in Week 14.
LeSean McCoy ran for two touchdowns, Michael Vick threw for 208 yards and a touchdown in his return, and the Eagles' free agent-fortified defense shut down the Dolphins to hand Miami just its second loss in the last six weeks.
Matt Moore, so good for the Dolphins of late, threw for just 95 yards and a touchdown before being replaced by J.P. Losman, who was even less effective. Reggie Bush ran for 103 yards and caught five passes for 27 yard, but failed to get into the end zone for the Fins.
The Eagles moved to 5-8 with the win, and kept their dwindling playoff hopes on life support. Miami's dream of starting 0-6 and finishing 8-8 died with the loss, as the Dolphins fell to 4-9.
