If Tim Tebow is going to win today, he’ll need a little more help from his special teams than this. With the game notched at 0-0, the Broncos had driven into field goal range. Matt Prater attempted a 28-yard chip shot, but the Chicago Bears blocked the kick. Specifically Julius Peppers blocked the kick.

Both the Bears and Broncos have played a tight game, not letting the other team do much offensively, with a little help from some supporting cast members culled from each team’s backups and bench warmers. Still, Denver could end up missing those three points if the game goes down to the wire.
Denver has an advantage so far in total yards and time of possession, but the score board stats that matter most confirm a tie game with two minutes left to play in the first half.
