Giants Vs. Cowboys Score: Mario Manningham Takes Advantage Of Cowboys Defense

Stay connected with SB Nation

Mario Manningham kind of took a backseat to his New York Giants wide receivers in the first half as he was targeted just once by quarterback Eli Manning, but that all changed midway through the third quarter. The Giants now lead 22-20 following the sixth lead change of the game.

Manningham took advantage of a Cowboys defense that was late to get on the field, late to set up and obviously late to find out that Manningham was wide open by the time he hauled in his 47-yard touchdown pass.

Manningham's touchdown catch improved Manning's statistics quite a bit, too, as Manning has now thrown for 244 yards and a touchdown while completing 15 of his 28 passing attempts. Aside from Manningham, Hakeem Nicks has been Manning's top option with six receptions for 130 yards.
