Tim Tebow: 'I Just Think It's Bronco Time'

Stay connected with SB Nation

Tim Tebow and the Broncos are on one of the more improbable runs in the NFL in recent memory, and have drawn a bead the AFC West title and the resultant berth in the 2011 NFL playoffs that goes with it.

But ask Tebow about his late-game heroics, which have included five fourth-quarter comebacks in seven wins this season and brought the appellation "Tebow Time" to the massess, and he'll smile and demur:

"I don’t think it’s ‘Tebow Time;’ I just think it’s ‘Bronco Time,’ and the team stepped up as a team. We play for one another and continue to trust one another, and I think that makes all the difference in the world."

Tebow also dropped one of the inspirational maxims of the year in his post-game press conference:

"If you believe, unbelievable things can sometimes be possible. I think that’s pretty special that we have a team that constantly believes and believes in each other."

I'm thinking that Tebow might want to put that one on posters. His Broncos are 7-1 with him as a starter in 2011, and one game clear of the Oakland Raiders in the AFC West.
