The Rams finally punched the ball into the end zone vs. the Seahawks on Monday Night Football, but it appears to be too little too late for St. Louis. Stephen Jackson punched the ball in from just outside the goal line to pull the Rams within 23-13 late in the fourth quarter.
The rush capped a 10 play, 76-yard drive that was exactly what the Rams had been missing all night. Here's the score from Jackson:
Even with the score, the Rams were not impressive around the end zone. It took St. Louis six plays from the one-yard line (and a helpful taunting penalty on the Seahawks) to get the ball in the end zone.
The touchdown was set up by a big (falling) catch from Brandon Lloyd to get the Rams offense moving. The 37-yard grab is definitely worth a look. Here's the video:
