The New York Jets look to keep a hold on an AFC Wild Card spot when they take to the road against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The New York Jets currently hold the final AFC Wild Card spot and they will travel to face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, looking to maintain that position. However, they will be doing it as slight underdogs. The opening line began at two points in favor of the Eagles and it has since risen to three points (and fallen to 1.5 points), according to Odds Shark.
The Eagles have not lived up to expectations this season but are currently looking to start a winning streak. They beat the Miami Dolphins last week; yet a week earlier they were unable to beat the Seattle Seahawks. The Jets, though, are definitely a tougher test than either team. The Jets are riding a three-game winning streak into the game, having put up 28 points or more in all three victories.
The over/under of 44 points seems like a comfortable area for both teams to aspire for by the time the game ends.
