The outcome of the Thursday Night Football matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars hasn't been in doubt at all, and the only question that remained was whether or not the Jags would be shutout. It's been that bad for the Jags, who fell behind 41-0 midway through the third quarter. You read that right.
It wasn't the offense finally breaking through for the Jags, though. At this point, it doesn't seem likely that Jacksonville will begin marching down the field. Factoring sacks in, Blaine Gabbert still has negative passing yards on the night, a sign of how rough of a time it's been.
The special teams did come through, however. Jacksonville's touchdown to end the touchdown came by way of a blocked punt!
At the end of the third quarter, the Falcons lead the Jags 41-7.
