The Colts look for their first win of the year against the Titans.
Though the Tennessee Titans are a game out of the AFC's last Wild Card slot after a 22-17 home loss to New Orleans this past Sunday, the relief performance of rookie quarterback Jake Locker makes it seem like dreams of perennial playoff contention won't be hyperbole. They meet the winless Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Two of the ten ESPN experts think the Colts can end the misery this week. Alas, none of the CBSSports.com experts think the Titans will lose to the Colts.
Peter King doesn't think this is the week for the Colts either.
Last time these two met at Lucas Oil Field, it was the last game of Jeff Fisher's 17-year tenure as Titans coach. The Titans were playing out the string. The Colts were going on to the playoffs. Peyton Manning throwing to the Blair White Project; Kerry Collins throwing to Kenny Britt. That was 11 months ago. Now it'll be Matt Hasselbeck or Jake Locker dueling Dan Orlovsky. Times change.
