The San Francisco 49ers will try to improve to 7-1 at Candlestick this year, which would be team’s first time winning at least seven home games since 2001. They host the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are hoping to hear Ben Roethlisberger will play.
Three of the five CBSSports.com experts think the Steelers will spoil the party and win the Monday night affair. Seven ESPN experts picked the Steelers while two picked the Niners (Jaws abstained since he's broadcasting).
Peter King doesn't think Big Ben will play and that's a big part of the reason he's picking the Niners.
Don't know who plays quarterback for Pittsburgh, but I might suggest Dennis Dixon. I think Aldon and Justin Smith would chase the immobile Charlie Batch and truly immobile Ben Roethlisberger down early and often, and the legs of Dixon might give the Steelers the best chance in what is going to be a terrific defensive game.
