The Washington Redskins and the New York Giants meet this weekend, who are the experts picking?
The Washington Redskins head into Sunday in an NFC East match up to take on the New York Giants. It's an important match up for the Giants with playoff implications on the line, so the Redskins can play spoiler.
Marcus Allen of ESPN likes the Redskins, but everyone else picks the Giants.
Peter King of SI.com likes the Giants to win the game:
Washington Redskins (4-9) at New York Giants (7-6)
Just can't imagine Eli Manning losing a game the Giants will likely have to have to stay atop the East, though you never know about the Giants when they play games the western world is sure they'll win. Remember Week 5 against Seattle?
The Sporting News likes the Giants to win the NFC East match up:
Washington Redskins at New York Giants, 1 p.m. Sunday. Way back in Week 1, the Giants stumbled out of the gate at Washington. Eli Manning is playing at a much higher level at the moment, and Victor Cruz wasn't a factor in the opening game. The Redskins' offense has shown life with Santana Moss and rookie back Roy Helu of late, but getting into a shootout with Manning wouldn't play in their favor. With the first of three straight games at MetLife Stadium, the Giants will take care of business. Giants 34, Redskins 24.
