Even Las Vegas is getting in one the Tebow-Time magic. Sunday's game between the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos is attracting a record number of bettors. The game is on pace to be the most gambled on game of the regular season, with the matchup attracting five times as a much action as a standard regular season game. The Pats are roughly one-touchdown favorites this weekend, making them the biggest favorite over a home team with a six-game or longer winning streak in over 25 years.
The large point spread is a testament to the almost inexplicable nature of the Broncos', and especially their starting quarterback's, remarkable run of success. Gamblers don't have much faith that Denver can best Tom Brady and the Patriots, however, with 80 percent of bets this week siding with New England. The Pats opened the week as 4.5-point favorites.
