As it stands, the Green Bay Packers and their undefeated record are the top seed in the NFC playoff race. With the number one seed, the Packers currently will receiver a bye in the first round of the playoffs. After the Packers, the San Francisco 49ers surprisingly hold a tenuous grasp on the second seed in the NFC, clinching the NFC West division title. WIth a 10-3 record, the New Orleans Saints currently hold the number three seed and hav clinched the NFC South title.
The New York Giants currently lead the NFC East as the fourth seed in the playoffs, but that can quickly change depending on how games go for the Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. In the WIld Card race, the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions currently hold the lead, but it's a thick race in the NFC that could come down to a handfull of teams.
