Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller gave his team a 7-0 lead over the Miami Dolphins with a 24-yard first quarter touchdown run through a Great Lakes snow storm. Spiller’s run capped off a three-play, 42-yard drive that resulted from a Dolphins fumble. Check out the highlight video of Spiller’s touchdown.
This was the second rushing touchdown for Spiller since he took over for the injured Fred Jackson as the Bills’ starting running back. Spiller’s last touchdown came on a 35-yard breakaway run in which he recovered his own fumble in the end zone.
Buffalo could certainly use the win today. The last time the team won was a Week 8 shutout of the Washington Redskins.
So far today, Spiller has six carries for 57 rushing yards and a touchdown. Heading into today’s game, Spiller had 66 carries for 299 yards and two touchdowns.
