The Week 15 game between the New York Giants and the visiting Washington Redskins is not going the way the home team expected in the early going. The Redskins hold a 10-0 lead early in the second quarter.
Washington quarterback Rex Grossman has already thrown a pair of first-down interceptions through one quarter of play, but the Giants have been continually halted by an uncharacteristically stingy Redskins defense. The Redskins jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first quarter despite the Grossman picks.
At the beginning of the second quarter, Grossman finally found a man in the end zone, as he completed a 20 yard pass to Santana Moss for the first touchdown of the game by either team and a 10-0 Redskins lead.
Grossman is now 7-for-11 on pass attemptys with 77 yards, two interceptions and a touchdown. The catch was the first in the game for Moss.
