Titans Vs. Colts: Chris Johnson Contained As Titans Lead 6-3 In Third Quarter

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Week 15 game between the Indianapolis Colts and the visiting Tennessee Titans has been mostly quiet through one half of play. As the third quarter gets underway, the Titans are holding on to a 6-3 lead.

Still in search of their first win of 2011, the struggling Colts took a rare lead with 0:03 left in the first quarter, as Adam Vinatieri nailed a 47 yard field goal following an 11-play, 56-yard drive by the Colts to get on the board first and go up 3-0.

The Titans would take the lead on two late second quarter field goals by Rob Bironas, from 53 and 21 yards, respectively

Titans running back Chris Johnson has been fairly well contained thus far by the Colts defense, being held to 26 rushing yards on 11 carries and 22 receiving yards on two catches. Colts back Donald Brown leads all rushers with 32 yards on seven carries.
