The Indianapolis Colts are still in search of their first win of the 2011 NFL season. So far in their Week 15 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, this is the game that has looked the most winnable for them. They hold a 17-6 lead midway through the third quarter of play.
The big story so far in this game is the work that has been done by the Indianapolis defense to contain the Titans both on the ground and in the air.
Colts quarterback Dan Orlovsky is beginning to settle down after looking overwhelmed early on. On one snap in the first quarter, Orlovsky even fell down after being stepped on by his center. In the third quarter, Orlovsky hooked up with Reggie Wayne on an 18 yard touchdown pass.
Just three minutes after the Colts took the lead on the Wayne touchdown, Jacob Lacey snagged a Matt Hasselbeck pass and returned it 32 yards for the second Colts touchdown of the quarter, putting Indianapolis on top, 17-6.
