The Houston Texans were hoping to pick up a victory over the visiting Carolina Panthers today, but things haven't gone exactly according to plan. In the fourth quarter of their Week 15 matchup, the Panthers lead by a score of 28-13.
Cam Newton has tossed two touchdown passes for the Panthers and led a nifty trick play for another touchdown run by Richie Brockel that put Carolina up 21-0 at halftime.
The Texans have fared better in the second half, scoring on two Neil Rackers field goals and an Arian Foster one-yard run to close the gap to 21-13 in the fourth quarter.
DeAngelo Williams of the Panthers was able to break off a 26 yard touchdown run to cap off an 80-yard Carolina drive in the fourth quarter, however, to stretch the lead once again.
