The Tennessee Titans had a rough Week 15. They were defeated 27-13 by the Indianapolis Colts, who picked up their first win of 2011.
The Tennessee Titans were heading to Indiana for Week 15 in order to pick up a win and stay in the hunt for the postseason. Although their playoff chances are not dead, they were stunned by the Indianapolis Colts with a 27-13 loss. It was the first win of 2011 for the Colts.
The first half was largely uneventful for both teams as they looked unsteady and played sloppily. Colts quarterback Dan Orlovsky stumbled over backwards on one play after his center stepped on him following a snap. Adam Vinatieri drilled a 47-yard field goal in the first quarter to get the Colts on the board first. Rob Bironas of the Titans added two field goals of his own in the second quarter, from 53 and 21 yards, respectively. The Titans headed to halftime holding a 6-3 lead.
The Colts scored two touchdowns midway through the third quarter, on an 18-yard Orlovsky pass to Reggie Wayne and on a 32-yard pick-six by Jacob Lacey. Vinatieri would add a fourth-quarter 40-yard field goal and Donald Brown would pick up an 80-yard touchdown run to put the game away for good en route to the Colts victory.
