After a slow start, the Philadelphia Eagles pulled ahead of the New York Jets on their first time out on defense. The Jets started to drive down the field, with Shone Green rushing for six yards, 12 yards and 13 yards. At that point, quarterback Mark Sanchez completed a pass to Santonio Holmes for seven yards, but he fumbled the ball.
Juqua Parker rushed in, scooped up the ball and took it back 47 yards for a touchdown. The replay assistant challenge the play, and it was upheld - the fumble came out shortly after he caught the ball, before hitting the ground. So the touchdown was good, giving Philadelphia the 7-0 lead following the extra point. Here's video of the return, below.
The Jets did manage to get things swinging back in their favor on the next drive, when they were forced to punt, and Curtis Marsh muffed the return for the Eagles, setting up a Jets fumble recovery.
