It's almost as if NFL officials are asking for some form of contact when signaling a touchdown. Think about it: When someone extends their arms above their head, isn't it a natural reaction to want to high-five them? Maybe after all these years, referees have actually been wanting to join in on the celebration.
So of course Vincent Jackson decided to give the referee what he wanted. After Ryan Mathews dove into the end zone for a touchdown in the third quarter of the Sunday Night Football matchup between the San Diego Chargers and Baltimore Ravens, Jackson zoomed over to one of the linesmen and gave him a high-five.
Words don't do it justice so hit the jump for a gif.

Doesn't it just warm your heart to see Jackson happy like a little kid, high-fiving an official? This would've been in the running for gif of the day, if not for the monkey riding a dog moment.
Update: There's a second high-five! A lineman in the middle of the screen gives one out to a different official, too.

DOUG MARTIN'S REPLACEMENT
NOT TO WORRY ABOUT DOUG MARTIN LEAVING, HIS REPLACEMENT IS ON THE WAY! JACK FIELDS OUT OF EL PASO, A 5-11 200LB LOOK ALIKE, RUN ALIKE, IS ON THE WAY!
HE RAN FOR FOR OVER 2,000 YARDS IN 2011, AND IS A HARD HITTING, HARD TO BRING DOWN, SLASHING STYLE REMINDS ME OF IAN JOHNSON IN HIS RECORD YEAR, AND DOUG HIS WHOLE CAREER! HE ISN’T AFRAID TO GO INTO THE LINE, FULL BORE, AND CAN SLICE AND DICE WITH THE BEST OF THEM. HE HAD SEVERAL OFFERS FROM TEXAS SCHOOLS, INCLUDING TCU, BUT HE SAID HE CHOSE BSU BECAUSE DOUG IS LEAVING AND THAT LEAVES AN EMPTY SLOT. THAT GIVES US TWO RBS FROM TEXAS, ALONG WITH AIJAY, SO WE WILL BE ALRIGHT!!

NICK PATTI
SO WHAT ABOUT OUR NEW STARTING QB, NICK PATTI !
ALTHOUGH HIS TEAM LOST IN THE FLORIDA 8A QUARTER FINALS, HE STILL SET A WHOLE BUNCH OF RECORDS, AND IS A FINALIST FOR THE 8A PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD.
MY SOURCE, IN FLORIDA, SAYS HE IS EASILY IN THE TOP TEN QBS NATIONWIDE , AND WAS AT THE TOP 25 COMBINE WHERE KING KELLEN WAS ONE OF THE ASSISTANTS, AND THERE ARE PICS OF THEM TOGETHER! THEY ARE LOOK ALIKES, AND MY SOURCE TOLD ME, “NICK IS KELLEN MOORE WITH WHEELS, FAST WHEELS” ! HE RUSHED FOR OVER 1500 YARDS THIS PAST YEAR!
NOW, IF BSU WILL ONLY HIRE KING KELLEN AS QB COACH, WE WOULD REALLY HAVE A SET UP!!
