After an uneventful second quarter and a missed field goal by the Indianapolis Colts, the Houston Texans offense was able to put together a scoring drive on the opening drive of the second half. Rookie quarterback T.J. Yates opened up with a 12-yard pass to Kevin Walter followed by an Arian Foster run, and another pass by Yates. At midfield, Arian Foster ran through a massive hole on the left side thanks to a block by Duane Brown, and juked Antoine Bethea to the ground. Fortunately for the Colts, Bethea was able to catch Foster's ankles.
The Colts were able to sniff out a toss by running back Ben Tate, stopping him for a loss. A failed screen pass on the next play put the Texans in fourth and long. The Texans wound up kicking the field goal, increasing their lead to 13-6.
