The Tennessee Titans have an awful taste in their mouths this week, having lost to the now one-win Indianapolis Colts last weekend. They'll be able to wash away that taste a little bit this weekend if they are able to defeat a fellow AFC South member, the Jacksonville Jaguars, at home.
The Titans are looking to make up for the opening season loss to the Jaguars, 16-14. However, the Jaguars have fallen into despair and have not Blaine Gabbert perform well as a rookie. The Titans expect Matt Hasselbeck to be ready for the game, which means we shouldn't expect a rookie showdown between Gabbert and Jake Locker.
Three of the five CBSSports.com experts think the Titans will win the game. Meanwhile, all ten of the ESPN.com experts think the Titans will win.
Peter King thinks the Titans will win and stay alive for the playoffs.
The Titans still have a playoff pulse, and good for Mike Munchak for getting this team to play well, and for losing only one game embarrassingly (Indy, last weekend). Never thought Tennessee would be 8-7 this year, and rooting against the Jets and Bengals so they'd have a realistic shot at the playoffs next week.
